As a gay teenager, then a medical student and even when I was a young doctor, my sexuality and lifestyle was frowned upon. I am so glad that we have come such a long way since then. I love being able to assist young and old members of the LGBT+ community. I am so privileged to be able to be the understanding medical person that I always wanted/needed to talk to in my youth.
